The Delizo Family

Just a quick blogpost on two three of my favorite people, Rodel, Alexis and baby Delizo.  I am so honored to have photographed this wonderful, anxious and memorable time in their lives.  Knowing them since their high school sweetheart days, this baby will be so blessed to have such loving and caring parents - and he/she will be equally a blessing to their lives (and when I mean caring, I really mean Dadzilla).  I can only imagine the pure joy that baby Delizo will bring to both sides of their families.  You best believe that baby Delizo will be one huge Yankees fan too!  I can't wait to upgrade our season tickets at the Stadium to include our mini-me's.  :)  Looking forward to meeting the new addition to the Delizo family!

Devon and Jaime at the W Hotel - Married

I had an awesome time second shooting for Mikkel Paige on this fabulous wedding at the W Hotel, in Hoboken, New Jersey.  Devon and Jaime were laid back and easy going, surrounding themselves with close family and friends for their special day.  What an amazing set of families - they were so interesting and quite the good-lookin' crowd (just take a look at the wedding party).  Devon and Jaime, Mazel Tov!

Welcoming Elena Marie

We welcomed Elena Marie on June 22nd, 2011 at 8:49am in the morning.  She is two weeks old today.  Indeed what a blessing it was for our family to welcome a healthy baby girl (with ten fingers and ten toes as Bevs was anxious to confirm).  Our lives were forever changed... yet again.  I can't say enough about how awesome our experience was at Huntington Hospital.  The staff nurses could not have made our stay at the hospital feel more like home away from home.  To be attended by Dr. Scanlon was such a blessing, it almost makes me want to try for another boy (not! #YChromosomeFail).  The older sisters literally welcomed baby Elena with open arms - they couldn't take their hands and kisses off of the little one.  And Bevs - what a trooper...  I am forever grateful for these memories which I am happy to have captured with my own hands for our children to look back at and to share with our family, friends and the 'inner-net'.  LIFE is indeed a miracle, welcome baby Elena Marie!

Most of these images (can you tell which ones?) were captured on Tri-X and pushed two stops in development.  Lots of grain and contrast, I'm still experimenting with this look.  Here's my little 'reyna' Elena at two weeks old.  Cheers!
