The North Fork

Sharing some images from a recent trip to the North Fork.  This part of Long Island, NY is where my heart is.  The water, the fields, the vineyards, quaint little places to eat and the year around family activities we take part in, they have really stolen my heart.  Having your engagement or wedding here?  Great choice, it is beautiful!
There were shot on my iPhone, toy Holga (E100VS) and rangefinder (some cheap generic film).  Cheers!

Details from Elena's 1st Bday

Here are some of Bevs' creations for Elena's first birthday party, all made with a mother's loving hands.  So proud and amazed at what she was able to create for Elena, but I am mostly thankful to celebrate a very healthy and happy first year of life with cakes, pops and sweets.  Cheers!
A quick peek into the past year and a short duet by yours truly and Lucia.  :)

The Nolan's Anniversary

So honored to have photographed John and Jackie's portraits for their 15th wedding anniversary while they were in town.   Congratulations John and Jackie on many years of happy a union.  John is a photographer based out of Boca Raton, Florida, check him out.
PS  The kid hanging from a tree in the background?  Yeah that would be their 10-year old son.   :)

Streets of Nu-Yawk!

March 17th, Saint Patrick's Day, New York City.
It doesn't get any crazier in the streets of NY than this day except for maybe New Year's Eve.   I love the energy in the city during days like this.  Coming out of Penn Station, I meant to actually watch/photograph part of the parade along Fifth Ave, but got sidetracked so many times that I ended up not watching any of it.  I am no street photographer (as a matter of fact, I've never done ANY street photography before), but I really did enjoy shooting this!  Strangers are helluva lot of fun to shoot!  :)
These were all shot on 4 different film cameras (Mamiya 645 80mm f/1.9, Canon EOS3 50mm f/1.4, Holga 120N whose shutter broke in the middle of the day, and the Canonet QL17) and several different films (Portra400, Superia 400, Kodak E100VS cross-processed and HP5).  You'd think I shot each film stock with each camera right?  As a matter of fact I did!  :)  Thanks to Tim for lending me the Canonet of which I am now also a proud owner (for less than $100 on ebay, that can't be beat!).  Alright let's take it to the streets!

Let me know what you guys think, cheers!
