Fenway Park and Beantown

Fenway Park is the oldest Major League Baseball stadium currently in use, and as such it is a "must-see" even for the casual baseball fan.  Fenway is very small compared to the standards of today's newer stadiums but I found it very charming with all its quirky features that survived its near century existence.  According to our tour guide, before the 2012 baseball season when Fenway celebrates its 100th year anniversary, the stadium will be applying for landmark status, which means it may never be torn down. With baseball's rich history and Fenway's role in housing Hall of Famers and memorable games, I sure hope that it will achieve that status (yes, even as a fan of the arch rival Bronx Bombers).  Just for the record, there is a REAL curse planted by other Yankees fans at Fenway (not by me) :).  Some geeky tech info: these were all captured with the Mamiya 645AFD and 80mm f/2.8 lens
on the super awesome new Kodak Portra 400.
