There's really not much more you can say about Jonathan Canlas and his workshop that hasn't been said already. His work is simply amazing and his willingness to help others FIND their vision thru film as a medium is just totally rad. I had an opportunity to shoot alongside Jonathan as he photographed one of his clients, Tara and Patrick, in some unknown hotel on 21st and Lex (ahem, cough cough). I was hoping to catch some of that magic fairy dust he carries around, but was disappointed to find his secret was just his lightmeter and neckstrap. Darn. I am looking forward to attending Jonathan's workshop as he visits NYC again this fall. And what blogpost would this be without mention of some geeky camera and film info - these were all shot on a Mamiya 645, 80mm lens on Kodak Portra800 for extra awesomeness.
